We're very excited to introduce a new feature that's been cooking up over the last couple of months: a big overhaul of the homepage on cricHQ. We've listened to your feedback, and we understand that navigating through profiles, competitions, and games can get a bit tedious. We hope this upgrade makes it quicker and easier to find the content you're looking for – and discover new things you might not have known about via the 'Popular' tabs on each section of the page. We're calling this new home screen on the web app the 'cricHQ Fanzone'. It's your own personalised page, with content relevant to who & what you're following, as well as a small recent pages history of what you've been looking at! This brings matches, competitions, and profiles specifically relevant to what you follow, right to the front of your cricHQ experience. It's a great way to keep up with the latest news and scores from your favourite teams, players, and competitions. And best of all, it's free for everyone! There are some extra features coming soon that we will be placing behind the Fan All Access paywall (more on that soon), but the main ease-of-use benefits of the Fanzone are totally free, available as soon as you login. The cricketing community is at the heart of everything we do here at cricHQ, and we're always looking for ways to improve the experience for our users. In the world of sports, the use of artificial intelligence and machine learning has reached new heights, transforming the way we understand and analyze games. During the 2023 IPL season we (with the help of our partners at Precision Data) introduced our groundbreaking Match Predictions AI: a machine learning algorithm that harnesses past match data and player/team performance to predict live game outcomes in cricket.We posted regularly on our Facebook page with updates on how it was performing – and we're stoked to say it was a huge success! Most games the AI had the score & winner predicted accurately, as early as overs 4 & 5.
